Construction Updates
As construction happens, ACPE will inform of any changes in business operation that
you should be aware of.
7/28/09 - The entire staff is now in the new quarters and settling in. There are still some details to be worked out but nothing significant. Please come by and take a look around your new building.
Time to Move - We are packing up and the movers will be coming on Thursday, July 23, for some things. The heavy lifting will be done on Friday, July 24, when the phones, internet, servers, day-to-day operations and the drive-up window will be moved to the new addition.
7/7/09 - With the project nearing completion, the lobby chandelier is up. The carpeting is down on the main floor, the teller countertops are installed and the tile has been put down. The trim is mostly installed and the drive-up ATM is in place but not in service yet.
6/3/09 - The elevator is to be installed tomorrow and the stairway has hand rails. Lighting and wiring is nearly complete on the ground floor. Cabinets have been installed in work areas. The old restroom floors have been redone with new tile.
5/19/09 - Much of the upstairs is complete with fixtures, doors, carpeting, and outlets. Telephone and electrical work is being completed downstairs. The lobby chandelier has been hung. Most of the outside has been bricked and/or stuccoed. The project is ahead of schedule and the anticipated moving time is the end of June.
4/21/09 - The interior walls upstairs have been painted and the ground floor walls are prepped for painting. Some of the suspended ceiling has been hung.
3/25/09 - Sheetrock is being put up on the interior walls. The driveup is taking shape. Plumbing and electrical are being put in.
3/11/09 - Windows began being installed.
2/25/09 - The trusses, walls and roof panels are in place. The roofing is being installed.
1/20/09 - The foundation for the addition has been poured; the walls are up for the new vault and the vault door was installed today.
12/22/08 -The basement level of the elevator shaft has been enclosed in concrete blocks and the basement floor poured. The foundation walls of the new construction were poured today.
11/21/2008 - Concrete is being poured for the elevator shaft. Please be extra cautious when entering and leaving the parking lot and driveup. The entrance to the driveup is from Grand Avenue through the parking lot. The exit for the drive up is now onto 30th Street. The alley behind Big D is one-way going out.
11/14/2008 - Preliminary ground work has started with a large hole being dug
for the elevator. Safety measures have been placed to help create a flow for traffic in the
drive up. On occasion, the drive up will have to be closed for construction purposes.
At those times, the lobby will be opened either early or late as necessary.
