Fraud Information & Prevention
This page is a source of information to help you keep your money safe from criminals.
Thieves and scammers are out in force this time of year. We recommend that you monitor
your credit card account online daily. And it is also a good idea to sign up for Home
Banking and check your accounts often. Please be sure your credit card company
has your correct address and phone number. If you have questions or find a
charge you cannot identify, please contact us immediately.
FRAUD ALERT: The thieves are getting more sophisticated. You may be contacted by persons or even a machine claiming to have identified
suspicious activity on your credit or debit card. The credit union and its service companies do not use these methods. DO NOT GIVE OUT
ANY INFORMATION. Please hang up and contact us directly if you are contacted. We have steps we can take. Rule of thumb: suspect
everything and act accordingly.
